Does anyone have feedback on:
1. business class product of BA versus Virgin 2. food reviews on BA and Virgin Would you recommend Virgin or BA? And any views on Virgin versus Jet Airways (Delhi-LHR)? Thanks much.

In respect of business class:
BA is a better seat. VS is a better bed, particularly for tall and/or broad people. BA has much more consistent on-board service. VS has a bar on-board. BA has a more extensive network and more planes, so less change of a serious delay. VS has a stunning LHR lounge with restaurant, spa and hairdresser. BA has much better food on board. VS makes it easier to earn top tier (gold) status. BA has many more options for frequent flier mileage redemption.

BA's in-flight food is more consistent. VS in-flight meals can be good at times and lousy at times; very much a lottery.
VS has dependable AVOD on all flights now. BA will only offer AVOD if you get one of the new New Club World refurbished planes. The VS Clubhouse in LHR is much nicer with better facilities than the BA Galleries Lounge in London. If you are flying on full business class ticket, BA will provide free chauffeured limo at both ends of the trip. You do not get this if you are travelling on a discounted business class ticket. (Jet Airways offers the same service with the same conditions) VS also provides a great drive through check-in at LHR. VS has a its own entrance for chauffeured limo pax where the bags are whisked away the moment the car stops and you are greeted by a check-in agent who meets the car and who hands you your luggage tages and BPs. You need to sit down on the sofa for about a minute while they check you passport/visa details. You tend follow the corridor to a dedicated VS security machine reserved for VS Upper Class and Gold card pax only. Its a great experience - smooth and very speedy. VS LHR Clubhouse offers a full meal service prior to take off. It is waiter service and the food is cooked to order. There is also a cold buffet if you prefer. The food here is good as opposed to the lottery of the food on the flight. I think LHR-DEL are night flights so you might want to get to the airport earlier and have a decent meal and just sleep on the flight. You can also pre-book a haircut or massage at the VS LHR Clubhouse. There is also a a sauna and hot-tub. BA also offers Spa services but you cannot pre-book them and appointments are often hard to come by. Jet Airways does not match BA or VS lounge facilities at LHR. Never flown Jet Airways international business but I think they have the same herringbone style sets as VS which convert to horizontal beds for sleep. No bar on Jet Airways. Great for day flights on VS but stay well away if you want to sleep on night flights.
