Default Know the Timeshare Property Well Before Buying

As we all know that timeshare is a big business in today's world as result of which it has become the most successful business in the travel industry.

Though the business was first introduced in Europe but it has its largest business in United States. All the timeshare companies of U.S.A. get licensed from the ARDA (American Resort Development Association). This American Resort Development Association has a research department know as ARDA International Foundation (AIF). They are constantly doing research on timeshare properties. Till January 2006 under the belt of this department there are 1,604 resorts with 154,439 units.

The record of the AIF is quiet interesting. It says:

1. Time share brought $8.6 billion by 2005

2. Earlier about 6% of the U.S.A. citizen have or more timeshare property. But by January, 2007 the percentage improved more than 16%. Now almost 4.4 million people in U.S.A have timeshare property.

One of the most successful timeshare companies in USA is Interval International. Presently it has 5400 resorts in around 100 countries. Timeshare Sales brought around about $11.8 billion in 2004 for them.

Let's now talk about the timeshare unit size.

This size varies according to place and as per your requirement and budget. It can be a one bedroom resort or it can also be 2 4 bedroom resort. You can also have spacious villas. Undoubtedly more bedroom resorts or villas are more preferable for larger families. The luxurious villas and resorts are always fully furnished with modern luxuries bedroom, with fascinating kitchen and dinning hall. Some resorts also provide recreational sports like tennis, golf etc. They also provide you with washers and dryers for better comfort for you.

Point system based timeshare sell is very famous. Here points are calculated on various issues of one and most important issue is sleeping arrangement. Usually one bedroom is counted for 2/2 and 2 bedrooms for 6/4 along with a sleeper sofa.

You can't have guest according to your wish. The timeshare contracts will prevent you to do this. The number of guest varies according to the size of the units. So the guest number differs from unit to unit.

Timeshare property importance varies from location to location. Sometimes one bedroom resort is more important than a luxury villa. For example one bedroom villa on a seaside is more valuable and demanding than a luxury villa in the city.

After having a couple of vacation in a resort in same place you will definitely feel bored from monotonousness. You need to change your timeshare property. Are you worried how to resell the property or exchange with another one. Don't worry the reputed companies will always provide you with the exchange facility. You can exchange your property with another owner which will in turn help you to enjoy vacation throughout the world. This is the major advantage you will have if you buy your property from a reputed company. The most popular resort exchange agencies are Interval International and Resort Condominiums International. Together this twp companies have more than 7000 resorts.

Beside exchange sometimes this companies buy timeshare for sale . They will resell the property to some other person. But the money you will get for reselling is not the same money you spent for buying the property. It will be mush less than that. So it is better that you go for exchange. It will not harm you instead it will allow you to enjoy the vacation throughout the world.
