Palermo set 25million euro price tag for Amauri
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has placed a price-tag of 25million euros on the head of striker Amauri.
The Brazilian-born 27-year-old looks set to leave the club next summer, with the likes of Internazionale, AC Milan, Barcelona and Villarreal being linked with an interest in the frontman.
Zamparini told the Italian media: 'A Spanish side offered 22million euros, but I refused.
'For less than 25million euros we will do nothing, but I think an agreement could be close.'
Amauri joined Palermo in the summer of 2006 from Chievo and has gone on to score 17 goals in 42 appearances for the Sicilians.
He has also played in Italy for Napoli, Piacenza and Messina, having started his European career in Switzerland with AC Bellinzona.
