my wife today in the morning was using some pesticide out side of the house once completed with her work she thought to read the warning label it said do not use if pregnant or if breast feeding well she is breastfeeding or boy of three menthes old so my question is generally when exposed to something deemed dangerous how long should you wait after being exposed for it to be passed through the body and normal breast feeding to resume baby as never had other than breast milk and he not a happy camper on formula!

I can't find anything yet.... but generally things that are in your blood stream are what affect your breastmilk... if she used gloves, didn't get any on her... I would think she'd be ok.

call poison control and ask them... maybe an IBCLC (international board certified lactation consultant) would have some more info on this.

umm i would think
maybe 24 to 48 hours, but I would really consult a doctor, or better yet call the poison control hot line because you have to be 100% sure on something like this! you don’t wanna take advice from some schmo on the internet and end up having something wrong with your baby!! please call a professional, its too important to risk it.
