Eminem's mother, Debbie Nelson, is reportedly being sued by a man who claims he helped her put together a book based on the Detroit rapper but was cut out of the profits.
According to The Associated Press, Neal Alpert of Birmingham alleges he entered an agreement with Nelson in 2005 to be her agent and develop the book My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem.
As part of the deal, Alpert was supposed to receive 25% of the book's profits.
The book, which was realesd last year in the UK, has sold over 100,000 copies and Alpert claims he has not been compensated. The book is scheduled to hits US shelves this week.
Nelson could not be reached for comment on the lawsuit which was filed in Oakland County Circuit Court yesterday (April 7).
