Default "Hate It Or Love It" Chingy's Back To Disturb Tha Peace

St. Louis rapper Chingy is slated to release his first solo album on Disturbing Tha Peace since he left the imprint three years ago.

Hate It or Love It will hit shelves on December 11, according to Billboard.

Tthe rapper (born Howard Bailey) claimed DTP had mismanaged his money. The split was highly publicized as Chingy leaked a scathing diss track aimed at DTP bossman Ludacris and fellow STL rapper Nelly, leading Luda to fire back with own his lyrics.

In Luda's "Tell It Like It Is" track off his Release Therapy album, the Atlanta emcee spit, "We never took no money from Chingy, thought I was cool with him/ I wish his @$$ well but I don't want nothing to do with him."

Chingy moved to Capitol where he released two albums, Hood Star and Powerballin', both of which suffered lackluster sales. His mega hit "Pullin' Me Back" featuring Tyrese was a ringtone success, but in the end, Chingy's dissatisfaction with Capitol's promotion is what pulled him back to DTP.

"I don't think Capitol really knew how to work urban artists," he told Billboard in August. "They're really stuck on pop and they didn't know how to market me."

Luda and Chingy peaced it up and the St. Louis rapper officially returned to Disturbing Tha Peace in April of this year.

He had a spot on DTP's compilation album titled Strength In Numbers, but Hate It or Love It is Chingy's first solo effort since his return to the label that launched his career with single "Right Thurr" in 2003.

His new disc features guest appearances from Luda, Amerie, Bobby Valentino, Anthony Hamilton, Rick Ross and Huey, among others.

Amerie appears on the first single "Fly Like Me," which will hit radio in early November along with a music video. Luda and Valentino double up on "Gimme Dat," and Hamilton sings the hook on "They Don't Know."
