I'm searching the title of a movie. Here's in a nutshell the plot:

"A woman (social worker?) finds in the cellar of a deceased man/woman a young man among books. He has a very white skin and is bald. She take this boy under her care. At a youth place (school??) this young man is being pestered. Which culminates in a fight during a thunderstorm. One of the other young men is being killed. The 'white boy' turns out to have special, supernatural powers and is able to revive the dead boy. The movie ends with this 'white' boy running across a field and ascending/evolving into pure energy".

Does this ring a bell with anyone? I think it's a british movie.

I think it's "Powder", but I'm not sure.

PLOT:
When sheriff Barnum investigates the death of an elderly rural resident, he discovers a teenage grandson living in the basement. Raised by his grandparents, he has experienced the world only through books, never leaving the family farm. He is sent to a state home for boys where he has trouble fitting in socially. His odd appearance and unusual abilities cause the small town residents to fear and ridicule him. However, not all are afraid. Some begin to view his potential and gifts with wonderment.

I think you are talkin about the movie Powder. It has Jeff Goldblum in it, and during the storm, the kid falls into a mud puddle.
