Searching for the proverbial fountain of youth?
You know, when we were younger - so much younger than today - we just couldn't wait to grow up. We were excited about the promises and liberties of adult life. We craved for the responsibilities that will make us feel important. We desired the look that a more mature body will give us. As they say, we should always be careful for what we wish for. As the years pile up, we notice our body slow down. Our memory starts to fail us more frequently than before. We begin to ache, at one part of our body at first, then another, and another, in a manner that is seemingly unceasing. And we start to realize that there are things we simply cannot do anymore, no matter how hard we try. Growing old is something that every person has to go through. In the same light, dreams of going back to our youth are fantasies that every person will entertain, at some point. Is the aging process irreversible? It is. I have developed a revolutionary technique that will make any person look and feel younger. Now allow me to share with you 5 tips on how to ward off the effects of aging so that you, or your loved one, can enjoy a healthier, fuller and longer life. 1. Regular sleep. It may sound simple, but slumber is the best way to fight aging. When at rest, the cells are given the opportunity to regenerate, and the heart if given time to take it easy. The results are always fantastic: younger looking skin, more energy for the day, a healthier heart and a stronger immune system. By regular sleep, I don't only mean getting the recommended 6 to 8 hours of sleep for adults, but also a regular time for bed and for waking up which should always be followed to keep the body in perfect rhythm. 2. Omega 3 fats IN, saturated fats OUT. Cut down on the intake of red meat and sugary delights. This means goodbye steaks and ice cream. Increase your intake of grains, fruits, vegetables and fish. You want healthier cells, and less oxygen-free substances that tend to destroy them. 3. Make a conscious effort to lose weight by reducing calorie intake. Studies reveal that a 30% restriction of calories lead to a longer, healthier life. Excess baggage brings stress to our system. Lose them and you'll have a more relaxed body. 4. Avoid habits that are bad for your health. Stay away from smoking. Drink a moderated amount of alcohol. Change a stagnant lifestyle devoid of any physical activities. 5. BE HAPPY. This is the most important advice that anyone can give you. Forgive those whom you hate. Unload the guilt that has been eating you up for so long. Find new goals to fulfill, goals that are rewarding enough to give new purpose and meaning to your life. Remember: it's never too late to change your perspectives in life into visions that will lead to happiness and contentment.Being happy will also make you smile more and you know what they say about smiling and looking young, right?
