Default What would be a good and inexpensive gift idea for my boss’s open house party?

My boss and his girlfriend are having an open house party. I want to get them a thoughtful but inexpensive gift and know nothing of their decor. Doubtful they need anything. I was thinking about nice wine or martini sets, but they have all that and more. Any ideas?

Hey, wine or martini sets are very common gift. Get them some different gift like some household gift or photo frame or many others. I know a site called Whiteport that offers an extensive range of home decor, gifts and accessories, themed around a stylish white palette. They choose white color because white products are simple, timeless and complement any color scheme.

Hope it will help you.

Good Luck !!!

my open house inexpenseive gift is always the same. Theres this beautiful shop near where I live that has all the oil, vinegar, spices, pastes and more in the world! I go in there, and after a bit of taste testing, I tell the shop assistant what sort of food the gift receiver likes and she puts together a little pack to the value I request. She gift wraps it and it looks amazing! Something they can use, and someone no one else would think of buying.

Soobie, Buying for a boss is usually tough. I would go with something for the home. alot of people will probably go the wine gift route because they are having the same trouble. I would suggest finding a local gift basket company or create it yourself; a dinner themed gift basket, something like an Italian theme in a picnic basket with red and white checkered napkins a bottle of Chianti, loaf of bruechetta, pasta, sauce, spices, couple of wine glasses, cheese and maybe candles. You could probably put this together yourself for under $50.00. Hope this helps.

Household items are one of the best options available.

I'm suprises nobody said anything like a candle. Everybody loves a good candle, they aren't exactly guaranteed to get you a raise but they will be appreciated. Even if they don't burn it there are no negatives I can think of to giving a candle where as wine or matini glasses might not go over too well if your bosses wife is a recovering alchololic or they don't drink as a rule. It relfects bad on you too during those situations.

And if your going to get a candle you might as well let me advertise for my site while your at it. Yes I know everybody is groaning and this is only like my second post but I practically have to at this stage sorry.

SmellzNice
