Default Are you ready for $5.00 for A gallon of fuel???

Ok, hopefully this is not just a rant about rising gas prices, but a statement of fact that reality will soon set in and $5.00 a gallon will soon be in our future.

We as Americans can forget about that summer vacation to Disney or to any other parts of the world. We as Americans are finding that gas prices are rising so high we can barely make ends meet at home not to mention the fact that with inflation rising in rapid proportions, we are dying inside because we can't even keep up. We as Americans are struggling everyday to get even the smallest of raises at work just to walk away with a 2% raise when inflation is rising by 4%. One step forward, two steps back.

The politicians are so focused on earning votes by talking about the war in Iraq that they seem to forget about the little people here in America who are the actual reason why they are in the position they are in in the first place, but yet how soon they forget about us except when it is time to vote.

Why won't they battle the gas prices? Why won't they demand lower prices? Because their hands are so deep into the oil companies that the higher the price of oil, the more money in their own pockets and in their campaign funds.

Is their any politician out their with a set of balls big enough to do something about it? Has America gotten so out of control that they can't handle the problems here anymore? Who is looking out for us?

The chain reaction just from the rising gas prices is enough to make cause a 1930's depretion all over again. Soon we will see a rise in thefts, loss of businesses and so much more because our own politians are letting the people of this country down and they just simply do not care.

I am not a political person per say, but when I see people selling everything they own because they can't afford to live in their nice suburban house or the single mother of three children has to find an even smaller place to live, i get upset because it all started with the rise in gas prices when it reached $2.00 a gallon.

These poor innocent people are losing everything and our own country can't do anything to help them. Yet we still battle to raise money for other countries when we need it so much right here in America!

The government is your problem. Ever hear what the EPA had done to stop the building of refineries and drilling for oil and gas in areas they wish to preserve? And what about gasoline taxes and oil royalties? When you do the math, the government is getting a much larger profit from gasoline than any oil company.

Milk will probably hit $5/g before gasoline does.
