Default Abs: How to Get 6 Pack Abs Fast!

There are faster ways then others to get six pack abs. How to get six pack abs fast isn't rocket science but you need to do the right things for your diet, exercises, and workouts to ensure you're moving forward as fast as possible. This article will explore what to avoid, the surprising diet changes you might need to make, and what role exercise is to play in getting six pack abs fast.

Stop doing what you're probably doing

If you're spending all your time doing crunches, sit ups and other ab specific exercises stop. Especially if you aren't paying any attention to your nutrition, caloric intake, and other areas of fitness. While these exercises will build muscle in your mid section you won't be able to see them unless you reduce the fat that covers over your abdominals.

Start Looking at your diet and current Body Fat Percentage

In order to see your abdominal muscles you need to be at or below about 10% body fat. Most of us aren't there yet. So the first thing is to discover where you're at. If you're a member of a gym then a trainer there can likely measure this for you.

Next step is to improve upon that and the best change to make is in your diet. Caloric intake (the number of calories you eat each day) plays a big role in whether you lose or gain weight. If you're taking in more calories then your body is naturally burning, plus what ever it burns during exercise then you're going to put weight on. The goal is to be the opposite of this, and eat fewer calories then your burn so you have a deficit and lose weight.

Do the right exercises

So as I said before if direct ab exercises aren't right what is? Interval training is great for burning fat. Think wind sprints, or short hill training. This might seem like a track runners workout but it will burn fat fast. Besides that focus on full body workouts at the gym. Resistance training is good, as well as free weight lifting.

When it comes to your abs be sure you're doing the right exercises. Leg lifts, stability ball crunches, and hanging leg and knee raises are great for developing abdominals fast.

There are complete books written just to guide you through getting lean, and doing the right workout routine to build six pack abs fast. The time frame it takes you to achieve the look you want is going to be based on your current level of fitness and body fat, as well as your determination to make it happen.

Hi there,

1. Many so-called "health foods" are actually cleverly disguised junk foods that can actually stimulate you to gain more belly fat... yet the diet food marketing industry continues to lie to you so they can maximize their profits.

2. Ab exercises such as crunches, sit-ups, and ab machines are actually the LEAST effective method of getting flat six pack abs. We'll explore what types of exercises REALLY work in a minute.

3. Boring repetitive cardio exercise routines are NOT the best way to lose body fat and uncover those six pack abs. I'll tell you the exact types of unique workouts that produce 10x better results below.

4. You DON'T need to waste your money on expensive "extreme fat burner" pills or other bogus supplements. I'll show you how to use the power of natural foods in more detail below.

5. Ab belts, ab-rockers, ab-loungers, and other infomercial ab-gimmicks... they're all a complete waste of your time and money. Despite the misleading infomercials, the perfectly chiseled fitness models in the commercials did NOT get their perfect body by using that "ab contraption"... they got their perfect body through REAL workouts and REAL nutrition strategies. Again, you'll learn some of their secrets and what really works below.

Truthfully I do 200 situps a day and by the third day I was seeing better abs.
Then again, I already had some abs.. but I really toned in about 3 days.
Seriously, 200 a day. Try to do them within an hour period. You'll be sore the second day, but by the third, you'll see tonage, and after a week, tada.
Key is different types of situps as well. I do 150 straight situps, then 20 to the left, 20 to the right, and then 10 on my back for the full abs.

If you don't want it fast, then you have more time to develop. Do backups, hold planks for 2 mins as a time, toe touches, things like that. If you need inspiration, go to youtube and type in 'abs' or something, there are many helpful workout videos.
