It also takes a lot of energy to digest these foods which make them great for burning belly fat. - Carbohydrates. High fiber vegetables and fruits are what you want here. Salad greens, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, and celery are great high fiber vegetables. For fruits look for apples, pears, grapefruit, and berries. These foods help you feel full and some are negative energy foods meaning it takes more energy to digest them than they produce. - Fats. Most people think that eating fats makes you fat. This isn't true. Artificial trans fats from hydrogenated oils and margarines are the real bad fats. Choose healthy fats from olive oil, nuts, seeds, fish fats, and avocados. These essential fatty acids are key in burning belly fat. 4. Avoid Processed Foods. Rule of thumb if it's white avoid it. White bread, white rice, white flour, all are processed and contain simple carbohydrates instead of the complex carbs we really want. Follow these tips along with a simple full body exercise program and you will see the Belly Fat burn off in no time.
