I Recently Got A New Computer And Wen I Insert A Cd To Try To Burn It It Says A Cd Drive Is Needed To Burn.. Can Anyone Help Me Out On This?

make sure your new computer has a CD RW drive if it does then see if it has two cd drives. Make sure your using the correct one because one is just a CD rom and the other has the burner

umm it does have a cd-rw drive and it only has one drive. at first it did let me burn and rip but all of a sudden it stop.

go to your device manager
find your CD/DVD ROM click on the plus sign next to it right click on your CD/DVD drive click on properties and check if its enabled and if its working correctly. you can also use your Drivers Disc that came with your computer and reinstall that particular driver or find it online with your computer model # and the driver your looking for Alternative solution since its still a new PC might be a system restore to an earlier date when it was working or restoring it back to its factory settings. system restore is in ur Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools if u need to set it back to the factory settings let me know

choose an earlier date on the calender in there when it was working then click on next
